about me!

hello! i am a fouth year Contemporary Applied Art student in the Crawford College of Art and Design.

i am inexplicably drawn to textiles, the materiality, the softness, the relationships. quilts have a history that feels bigger than any one person or piece. the process is intuitive and playful, and once you've finished, you've learned something about yourself, the time and place you exist in to make it.

using vague, human-like figures, i want to explore my feelings of growing-up and gender identity. in making them, i hope to connect my body and mind, finding harmony in the free and abstract forms.

i love all things textile and fibre arts! knitting and crochet are a big part of my life- if i don't have a project on the go i feel directionless.

i also have a passion for graphic design! (and web design). this website was made by me using html, css, and javascript and the icons and background were made by me in adobe illutrator.
